I'm a freelance writer and expatriate American living in Toronto with a very patient husband, two not so patient children, and an ancient Black Lab.  I enjoy writing most of all but also love reading, eating good food, traveling, and pulling weeds (cheaper than therapy).  I am very curious; I love asking questions and finding the answers.  I have published a number of nonfiction articles as well as one flash fiction piece.  I am currently working on my first novel.
